Hiking
Wild  Pacific Trail...Almost Famous!

This trail will give you an overview of Barkley Sound and the Broken Group Islands on the east side and towards the south and west you see the Grand Pacific Ocean in a wonderful panoramic view.  It is common to see Gray whales playing out in the ocean during  the annual whale migration in the months of February to May. Sea lions  resting on the rocks,  the thunder of the waves crashing against shoreline rocks and eagles soaring about are some of the other attractions you may see. All the trails are lined with well maintained boardwalks, no vehicles allowed.  Don't forget to bring a camera, you will want to share your experience with your friends and family.

Other trails:

Wickaninnish - 5km - It's a long trail

South Beach - 1.5km - Short trail from the Wickaninnish that goes along the border between beach and forest.

Big Beach, Little Beach, and Hi-tin-Kis
Near the south end of town you will find a few beaches that have breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Great for tide pool searching and relaxing.

Photo is view from Hi-Tin-Kis Boardwalk.

Long Beach ..Pacific Rim National Park.
White sand beach between Tofino and Ucluelet.
Great for surfing, relaxing and an amazing photo opportunity.

The rainforest trails are a spectacular place to amuse and to educate.

Wooden boardwalks allow you to walk through the rainforest with ease . Listen carefully to the surroundings, look at fallen trees with moss growing on them and ask yourself what part that tree plays now? In the rainforest it is damp and chilly,  be sure to dress appropriately.

Our town has lots of fun things  for the younger ones and those young at heart.  Arcades, Bowling, Skate Park, BMX Park, Basketball Courts.

There are many more attractions nearby, all of which you will find a wonderful experience.

Come join us here at Ucluelet Campground for your next vacation!
